Tama Granstar 1986 9-piece Nile Blue double bass

All-original 1986 Tama Granstar 9-piece set. Everything shown in the photos, which include: Qty.2 = 22" X 16" Kick drum 18" X 16" Floor Tom 16" X 16" Floor Tom 15" X 14" Rack Tom 14" X 13" Rack Tom 13" X 12" Rack Tom 12" X 11" Rack Tom 8" X 8" Rack Tom Tom mounting brackets. The 8" Tom mounting bracket is missing one L-arm, as shown in photo. Also includes the two original kick pedals. This was a custom ordered set, and it was barely played. The proof of this is the original heads that are still on the drums; you can see exactly how much this was used. Unfortunately the original owner passed away less than a year after purchasing it in '86, and it has been stored in a garage for years without being touched ever since. Never gigged, never left the house. We have spent the past two months cleaning and polishing all of the hardware back to it's original glory - everything from lugs to spurs. You can see some small pitting in the chrome, which I've shown in the photos, but the kit shines spectacularly and has no significant blemishes. The original Nile Blue wrap on the shells looks great, and has hardly any wear on it. If you look closely on a few of the shells you can see small minor surface scratches, but nothing noticeable from even 2-3 feet away. As you can see from the photos, this is a beautiful kit in great shape. The inside of the shells has aged beautifully, and they sound amazing. If you've been waiting for "just the right" vintage Tama Granstar set, this is the one. I prefer a local buyer, but I will consider packaging and arranging crating/freight for the right collector. Keep in mind this kit takes up a lot of space, so crating and freight will be a costly addition. We know this is a unique set, and we are in no rush to sell, so please refrain from lowball offers. We will ignore them.
