Antique Vintage Crum Brush Mirror Set Smokers Companion Hammered Brass

Vintage crumb brush and mirror set, sometimes called a wall-mounted crumb catcher or smoker’s companion. Beautiful hammered brass (some light wear to the color of the brass on the bottom). I’m unsure of the exact time period this was made but it looks to be either late arts & crafts period (earlier 1900s) or early Art Deco era (20s-30s). Located in NE Portland near gateway shopping center. Cash or Venmo. Here’s how these were used: • It would be mounted on the wall in a dining room or parlor. • The little brush was used to sweep crumbs from a dining table, or to clean ash/debris from a smoking table. • The tray at the bottom would catch and hold the swept-up crumbs or ash. • The mirror was both decorative and functional (guests could check their appearance after a meal, or it simply added charm to the piece).
