Mercury 225 Optimax Outboard

For sale is my 2001 Mercury Optimax 225 outboard. It has 416 original hours, and the compression is between 105-110 across all six cylinders. It has a 20 inch shaft and has only been in fresh water . I intend to re-power in the coming month and would like to sell this unit first. It is currently installed on the boat, and I welcome serious buyers for a lake test. Recently, I have replaced or serviced the following items: impeller, gear case line, fuel filter, and anodes. This outboard starts and run very well and is equipped with smart craft technology for easy access to hours and other relevant data. More photos available upon request. Asking $5,500 obo. New price $4,500- I just learned the seals on the lower bushings need to be replaced- it’s still runs and operas fine, but want to be fully transparent
