Iconic 1977 Yamaha RD400; oil injection, 400cc 2 Stroke dual carb motorcycle This is a project bike that needs work, and all the parts are original with no aftermarket parts, and no dents in the tank. The seat is in great condition as well.. The engine has great compression but, I have never had it running, and have had the time to try. My grandpa purchased this from a dealership in San Diego about 30 years ago and used to ride it all the time but, when he passed, it sat in his garage and then under a tarp in his backyard for a few years. I brought it home to Washington and it’s been in my garage ever since. As far as I know, there are no real problems with it other than it just sat for too long. Most likely carburetor and oil injection issues. I did write it one time and it is very quick. The bike was last registered in 2000 in CA.
