Turn the MIWF6200 water filter counterclockwise, and then pull out to remove. 3. Remove the water filter from its packaging, and then remove the clear, plastic cap from the filter head. 4. Align the tabs on the filter head with the notches in the opening, and then insert the MIWF6200 into the opening. Press inward, while turning the MIWF6200 clockwise to install. o NOTE: The housing allows the filter to move slightly upward and downward. 5. Turn on the water supply to refrigerator. 6. Close the filter cover. 7. Press and hold the Water Filter control for 3 seconds to clear and reset the filter status clock. o NOTE: The light will turn off and 3 beeps will sound. How often should you replace the Midea MIWF6200? • Changing your Midea MIWF6200 is a very quick and easy process that should be done once every six months.
