Costco Wilderness Pontoon Boat

If ad is up, boat is still available. Up for sale is a Wilderness Pontoon boat. This is Costco's version of the Colorado XT. I recently bought it gently used. It had been in the water one time prior to me. I've taken it out 3 times and realize I am better at paddleboarding than a boat with 2 oars. I actually bought this to fish from. Speaking of fishing, fishing on this thing is a true pleasure. It's comfy, and the swivel seat is a nice option. Even though I haven't had this long (maybe a month), I've made a few smart modifications. 1. I used a 3/4 peice of plywood to make the wooden transit. It's been routered and sanded smooth. I then used a Japanese technique to treat the wood. It's called Shou Sugi Ban. The wood pores shrink by charring the wood and sanding it. This also makes it pest proof. It's been sanded to 220. 2. The wheels are a smart add-on. This makes the pontoon increadibly mobile. You drop the wheels at the shore, grab the front handlebars, and walk away with your pontoon and gear. I am out of the water within a min. It works great! 3. I added a nice set of stainless articulating oar locks. They work much better than the OEM ones. 4. I added a metal rudder to test if it would assist with tracking. The rudder helped! You can add a trolling motor to this, and it would be amazing.
