2006 Buell Ulysses XB12X with many upgrades and new OEM replaced parts and original parts such that much of modifications can be returned to stock. First the bad: A driver merged into me causing the following: broke the left side subframe where the foot pegs attach, left a discoloration mark on the frame where my boot got squished between vehicles, a small tear in the seat and I bent the handlebars keeping it upright. At that time all damaged parts except the frame and seat were replaced by HD. They forgot the seat and I didn’t care about a boot scuff that you can’t even see anymore. Additionally the bike received new upgraded suspension front and rear, new tires and a full service. Unfortunately the mechanic failed to properly assemble the rear hub which deteriorated in dramatic fashion on the Kent Narrows bridge after which dealership further replaced the swing arm and rear wheel. Shortly after that the bike was retired and has been sitting since 2017. I had planed on using it as a doner to make a full custom from, but, I never got around to it so it’s up for sale. (Edit) During recent test ride the neutral indicator light on the instrument panel failed to light up. Modifications: The air box has been opened up and a carbon fiber cover with larger vents added to provide better airflow to the intake. A Special Ops muffler and ceracoated header pipes. New ECM. Adjustable touring windscreen. Mirrors from a Buell 1125 CR with integrated LED turn signals. LED rear bidirectional turn signals. Carbon fiber front fender. Buell Heated grips. Highway pegs (they work great on long rides but don’t fit well with the chin spoiler. (The cross bar could probably be bent to improve fit but I just ran without the spoiler.) New front caliper for better cooling and fresh pads. Additional Parts: original bodywork; air box cover with tank bra, chin spoiler, front fender and mud guard. Three original mirrors ( one has scratches on the back third is still in the box). Original windscreen and commemorative wind screen plaque that went out to the first 100 sold signed by Erick Buell and numbered as the 72nd sold. Original hand guards, left side has a broken mount point, I just zip tied it in place when I used it. Stock 1200xb muffler. Stock ECM and editing software and data link. Original front rotor. Pit bull service lift. New drive belt. New Michelin pilot road three tires(300ish miles on them). Original turn signals. Piaa auxiliary lights. Kryptonite motorcycle lock. Extra keys for bike and luggage. Operator and service manuals. Tool kit complete. Extra filters; oil, fuel and air. Tank bag. Also have plenty of riding gear if you’re interested; Gerbing, Vanson, Klim, Vendramini, Schuberth , Shoei … Price negotiable if you don’t want the extras or possible trade for classic truck 3/4 ton or larger.
