have never experienced such poor service from a car salesperson. We visited this Toyota dealership yesterday to look at the RAV4 and Corolla Cross for an elderly family member. Someone greeted us at the entrance, and I explained that we wanted to compare the two models. The salesperson led us to the parking lot but didn’t open the car doors, offer any explanation, or ask if we were interested in a test drive.

In fact, we never even got a chance to properly see the cars.

I asked if they had a more basic trim level, and he simply said no. I mentioned we were looking for something more affordable, and he immediately asked, “If I give you a good price, can you buy today?”—this was before even letting us look inside the car. I told him we wanted to compare first, and it seemed like he lost interest in us. He rudely said, “Then take your time,” and just walked off, leaving us standing in the parking lot.

We were speechless. Are we supposed to beg someone to sell us a car? With that kind of attitude, we had no reason to stay. We went across the street to Subaru and ended up buying a car there instead.
