This antique standing desk/secretary made in France circa 19th century is a unique and elegant piece of furniture. Crafted from wood it features a brown, green, and gold/cream color scheme. This original free-standing desk includes a fold-down desk area, drawers, and pull doors for added functionality. With its antique theme and French craftsmanship, this standing desk is sure to add a touch of vintage charm to any room. Most of the wood craftsmanship is tongue and groove style. There are a few support pieces that were tack nailed in place. Not sure if they are original to the piece. The artwork appears to be original painting. Designs are on all 3 external sides, the tops of the drawers are all painted as shown in photos, the fold down desk has painted details on the inside as well. Please refer to all photos. This piece is available for pick up only in Tucson Arizona. It is too fragile to try and ship. I have more photos. DM if interested. I could only post so many. Please also note there is an original stamp on the back for where it was made. There appears to have been a label on it once upon a time but it has long since disintegrated. There are a few areas you can make out a few letters but that’s it.
