Description

Painted on April30, 2009 at the Angie Aparo concert at the Peace Center in Greenville, SC. I have all the paperwork showing authenticity along with signature on back as pictured. This is a one of kind piece where Ric Standridge painted his vision based on the songs playing at the concert. His paintings of this size typically sell for $18,000-$25,000. Reasonable offers welcomed. Ric Standridge, a native of Greenville, SC, has left his mark in the state as founding director of the South Carolina Children's Theatre and as recruiting director for the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. Standridge says, "Andy Warhol taught me to diversify in art making. My paintings are mostly derived by the way I feel. There are three 'looks' or 'styles' inside my art making: Old Masters Tradition of glazing, Neo-Expression, Pop and Abstract Expression. Ric Standridge has a studio / gallery located at Hampton Station. Situated in Greenville’s Water Tower District, Hampton Station is mere minutes from Main Street and directly on the newest spur of the Swamp Rabbit Trail. His paintings and designs are sought after by private and corporate collectors.
