Violin Professional Vintage

When I was 14, Juilliard's Ivan Galamian told my parents that I needed a better violin. At the time when people worked for $1.30 an hour, somehow, they managed to buy a 50 year-old hand crafted European violin for $5,000 in 1969. I played on it professionally for another 50 years. This Vintage violin has a well-seasoned sound that blends the treble with the bass that can only come from 100 years of playing. I'm retired now and out of respect for my parent's sacrifices, I'm selling it for what they paid for it, though it's worth at least twice that. It's not the price that matters. I've tried dozens of violins ranging from $50,000 to $1Million that didn't meet my expectation of tonality. It's a combination of the wood and varnish and time to fuse the vibrations into the wood. This violin has what it takes. The purchase also comes with 50 years of music, my mentorship, and a local Luthier. Looking forward to meeting the next virtuoso.
