Description

Kay M1B upright bass with Fishman model B bass pre-amp, student German style bow and quiver. Also includes a bridge blank in case replacing the bridge would ever be an option. The bass now has Superior Bassworks synthetic gut strings, but I still have the nickel strings that were on the bass when I originally got it. Whoever had the bass before me tried to re-finish it and did a bad job, so it is not pretty. Also, there was some neck repair done at Metzler’s Violin Shop about 30 years ago. Other than that, it is in pretty good shape for it’s age. This one is from 1952 serial number 28795.
