IKEA Solsta Olarp Chair (dog bed too!)

This black Ikea armchair may be too “worn-in” for your own sittin’… but it will be the best damn thing your pampered pup has ever laid on… Dear friend, if you’re sick and tired of your furry king and/or queen always stealing your spot on the couch, on your bed, or just sick of the eye sore that most dog beds laying on the ground are in your home… then do I have the chair for you! Let’s start off with the tangibles: This chair is “ruffly” (see what I did there??): 26 inches wide (arm to arm) 22 inches depth (back to front) 24 inches height (legs included) Now I’ll be candid with you, as you can see by the photos, it does indeed have some wear and tear on the arms. It was put to good use. A ho’ lotta of books read on this chair. The seat cushion is a little worn down too, but don’t worry… farts were not allowed! This IKEA Solsta Olarp chair is still comfortable for my own two cheeks, and is solid and sturdy enough to withhold the few extra pounds gained by me through the beer-drinkin’ Michigan winter. While this chair would still suit a human perfectly well in form and function, dare I say that if you’re in the market to treat your pup to the best naps ever while you finally get some of your own R&R without them crowding your space, this may be the most important message you see all day! Here’s the thing, While this IKEA chair may not be the right choice to choose as the focal point of your family room, it sure as heck will look way better than your typical dog bed laying in the middle of your room! And just imagine your friends and family coming by and seeing your good ol’ boy/girl curled up in their own elevated space. You’ll be the best dang dog-parents out there!
