If you surfed Bolsa Chica State Beach in the early 2000’s there’s a good chance you were snaked by this board, or possibly just completely ran the hell over. Sorry about that, I was fresh on the scene on didn’t have the money for Corky Carrol’s Surf Skool. Ordered it new from the man himself, Mike Dawson. A legend at Bolsa Chica, and one humble cat if I do say so. And to top it off, a seriously trippy resin swirly acid trip glass job by Steve at Aloha Glass! This boards has been all up and down the California coast, from Jalama Beach, (it probably still smells like their double bacon cheese) to secret spots in the San Pedro harbor, or stand out spots like, Cardiff Reef, where I split 15ft peaks all day with the man himself, Joel Tudor! Ask him, he’ll remember. Dims: 9’3” x 22-3/4” x 3-1/4” So if you’re lookin’ for a 9’3” log with a buttery round pin, a fin box with some random ass Fins Unlimited 9.0 skeg that I bought at Frog House, and some wannabe Drew Brophy artwork hiding a couple rail dingers, then this is your stick!
