Description

For sale is a Kingston Mandolin, made in Japan in the 1960s. It’s in great cosmetic shape, few if any blemishes on the body, some light wear around the headstock. The photos should show all finish imperfections. I just restrung it with electric mandolin strings which were quite difficult to find. I realized during this process that the top two tuning machines are a bit stripped and should be replaced. You could find individual tuning machines, or replace both sides in series. Between finding the strings, restringing and trying to trouble shoot, I just don’t have the bandwidth for the repair, even though it’s very simple. I’m leaving the two strings intact so you could just restring it after replacing the machines. All in all this things looks and sounds awesome. Feel free to message any questions.
