This Antique 1912 Metal Goblet "ThermoCup was manufactured by the American Thermos Bottle Company in New York. It is more than 100 years old. It is marked on the bottom: Mfd by the American Thermos Bottle Co, New York, Thermocup Licensed Patent Number 1021716, March 26, 1912. 1912 was the last year that the American Thermos Bottle Company operated as such ~ in 1913, the name was changed to Thermos Company and they moved their manufacturing from New York to Connecticut. The thermos measures about 4 inches in height. Items manufactured by the American Thermos Bottle Company are important historic artifacts and can be viewed in museums such as The Brooklyn Museum.
