I'm selling my Chicago made cruiser from the late-60's/early-70's. It has a kinetic style light on the rear, meaning it generates power for the light from the bikes wheel as it moves, so if that wheel is turning, your light shines! (Seruously, why aren't these on all bikes!?!?!?) The last time it was ridden, the light worked but it has since been sitting for a couple years. It is definitely a project bike but is a cool looking, classic bike that deserves a good and happy life somewhere. It will certainly need new cables, a new chain and some new tires before rideable, but everything else seems to be cosmetic. It's a little rusty but some steel wool could clean most of it off I bet. The paint is dull as it's original but isn't too bad considering the bike's nearing 75 years old. I'm asking $200, but am open to reasonable offers. I got this bike as a project bike but haven't had much time to work on anything so it's time to part ways. When I purchased it, it was all original and the chain quickly broke off. I imagine this would be worth quite a nice amount of m1y if it were fixed up a little bit. It is certainly a cool, older piece of Americana. Please text if interested or need more details/pictures.
