Description
Expensive PDP Junior Drum Set , 5 piece & padded throne, excellent condition, highly rated , Retails $617 (See 2nd picture) The PDP junior drum set has all the right selling points. It is a complete set with very decent hi-hats and crash cymbals. Other parts of the drum set include a kick drum, snare drum, two mounted toms, a floor tom, a crash cymbal, and a hi-hat with a stand. The necessary accessories, such as two drumsticks, drum key, and padded throne are included. The kit is made of hardwood, has the same positioning as normal-sized drum sets, and is durable. The drum heads have a great sound that will be appreciated by a skilled drummer, let alone a beginner. Key features: * Hi-hat and bass drum pedals feature chains instead of straps. * Durable tunable drums, stands, drumstick, and padded throne * Suitable for a beginner young drummer 3 to 10 years It gets great reviews. I copied one from a drummer: Hambone Only "Childs" Set Worth Buying Style: Drum Set I am a drummer and have been for over 20 years. When our first child came I looked far and wide for a good well built kit that does not fall apart after the first 6 months. The PDP 5-Piece drum set was the winner out of several on the market. My kid is 2-1/2 and its still too big for him but he still sits on the throne without his feet touching or stands and wails on it like a rock star. I wanted something with at least 4ply and could handle children jumping and playing on it. I also wanted a kit that has the same placement as real normal sized kits. This has both. It is very durable and has nice hardware for a beginner kit. It is also set up just like mine so I can teach him so much easier. The other kids kits on the market usually only have one rack tom connected to the kick along with a ride/crash also connected which is really abnormal to try to play. They also usually have a very strange snare and hi-hat placement. Kits like that are not meant to be played, there made to be hit.
