Description

UPDATE! The weather is finally turning cold enough to harvest the rhizomes for indoor keeping or to plant in the ground (6” deep and mulch heavily!) So nownI am offering rhizomes either dried and ready for storage I a garage or cold dark place) or fresh Rhizomes for planting in the ground or drying yourself or potting up and putting in a greenhouse until early May. Rhizome pricing varies and starts at $10 for 3 small one’s , or 1 large one. Fresh rhizomes will only be available for a short time as I harvest them and dry or repot them for winter storage. Please just ask to see if I have what you want. Beautiful pink Canna’s! Healthy and vigorous growing. Plant this fall in the ground and be amazed in the spring. One pot can be divided into 3 or more rhizomes and they will grow more each year! Easy care, mulch over winter feed lightly in the spring and feed more at 80 degrees. Cut back in fall and mulch for winter. In ponds you can plant them shallow about 12”-18” and they will overwinter nicely. Or take the rhizomes and put on some peat, overwinter in the garage and plant next spring! Price is per pot starting at $15 up to $35
