1950s Argus Metramatic 8mm Zoom Camera + Auto-Thread Projector Working • One Family Since New •

A rare opportunity to own an authentic 1950s Argus 8mm home movie set that has remained in my family since it was purchased new. Unlike most vintage film equipment, this isn't an estate or attic find. Its history is known, documented, and unbroken through three generations. A few years ago my brother and niece threaded one of our original 1950s family reels into the projector and watched it successfully, confirming it was operational the last time it was used. Includes: • Argus Metramatic 8mm Zoom Camera • Mansfield Cinepar f/1.8 Zoom Lens • Argus Auto-Thread Remote Projector • Original fitted carrying case • Written family provenance/history Perfect for: • Vintage camera collectors • Film students & analog enthusiasts • Home movie preservation • Mid-century décor or studio props Original Regular 8mm film and processing are still available through specialty suppliers. I'm downsizing and would love to see this preserved by someone who appreciates its history. Pickup in Bay Park, Point Loma, or La Mesa.
