This is an Onkyo (Pioneer) brand 5.2 Dolby Atmos & DTS:X-enabled speaker system set. All speakers in this set have only been used to successfully test their full functionality and compatibility and are as good as new. They can be hooked up or used to upgrade any home theater receiver, surround sound system or amplifier set-up and offer immediate 5.0 surround sound capability. But if you have a receiver possessing the necessary inputs for additional discrete audio channels and/or compatibility with Dolby Atmos and/or DTS:X audio decoding, you can also harness the Height Channel speakers, as well and attain 5.2 surround sound capability. Combined with your own subwoofer(s) or audio system specs, you could have either a 5.1 or 5.1.2 channel speaker set-up with this set.
