Antique French Louis XVI Marquetry Ladies Writing Desk having wonderful inlaid floral designs on every panel. This desk has great proportions and graceful cabriole legs. The ormolu gallery surrounding the top is fashioned in a ribbon lattice and the ormolu shoulder and toe caps are joined by very delicate ormolu bead work on the outside spine of each leg. Opening the slant front writing surface reveals three small drawers and a slide back till. Key present. 36h x 29w x 18d
