Description
Into music production, video editing, podcasting, and are locked into Apple's ecosystem, but have a bit of FOMO (fear of missing out) when watching YouTubers and your friends build their custom gaming PCs? Why not have the best of both worlds! I have decided let go of my favorite PC build. I combined the best looking plastic pieces and fame of 2x G4 Mac Pro towers to make the case for my sleeper Hackintosh/gaming PC. The unit is liquid cooled and uses only Noctua fans for ultimate silence when running, even under heavy load. I used this in my recording studio, and it was never picked up by even the cheapest microphone (You can barely hear it even by ear, so obviously). Rather than use the ugly bunny ear antennas that are provided with the motherboard, I sourced both a 2.4GHz and a 5GHz antenna to run under the G4 Mac Pro plastic casing. This makes for a super clean Sleeper PC with no compromises! The unit has an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16 core CPU, 64GB of dual channel memory, a Radeon 6900XT (founders edition), an Asrock X570 motherboard with Thunderbolt support (Yes, the Thunderbolt is working in macOS), an EVGA 850W SFX (80+ GOLD efficiency rating), and a firmware unlocked LG 4K Blu-ray disc reader and writter (for ripping your 4K library to add to a Plex server). It's been a difficult decision to move on from this build. I am starting to seriously get into analoge audio equipment, and my funds are running dry. I'd love to see this build go to a new owner who will appreciate the blood (thers no blood in the computer, I swear 😅, its just a metaphor), sweat, and tears that went into building this custom PC, and to someone whom will use it to its fullest potential. I am now asking $1400, which is a fair price given the time, labor, and cost of materials with depreciation. I am open to trades with quality and sot after pro audio equipment, but I would prefer cash. Open to reasonable negotiation on cost as well. I can meet anywhere in Central Texas, but I'm also not opposed to driving to the DFW and Austin area for a meet up. I can bring a mouse, keyboard, and monitor where you can test the until before purchasing. Thank you for taking the time to read this ad, and I hope you could possibly be the proud new owner of a sick Hackintosh!
