All the drawers work great, the framing itself is metal, the drawers are wood, as are the types which are high-pressure white laminate which is very easy to clean….. The drawers are mostly super clean but two have a stains from previous usage, new drawer liners will take care of that. This set is quite sturdy and looks fantastic. It does show minor signs of wear.. Not only would it be perfect to use in a bedroom, kids space, college use, it would be perfect for an office Space.
