Just in!! Keilwerth Sx90 Tenor Saxophone- Burnin player! Up for sale is a classic legend! Julius keilwerth has been making some of the finest saxophones for the last 100 years. Some of our jazz heavy weights such as Grover Washington Jr, Kirk Whalum, Walter Beasley, Ernie Watts, Dave liebman have all either played or currently still play this exact model tenor. This is an earlier model with a serial number of 110,xxx and was manufactured somewhere around 1997.-98 This is keikwerths top of the line pro horn and the only difference between this stand the "R" model is the rolled tone homes. I actually prefer no rolled tone holes model due to the fact that pads seem to stick less. It's a serious player and does show some signs of use in the past but these are purely small cosmetic and are mainly scratches to the finish. It plays with a big, edgy sound that just takes your air the second blow into the horn. So much color and harmonics! The horn is in nice shape but does show signs of use as all the great ones are never kept in the case to collect dust! It with its original neck and case. The horn is in top playing shape and ready to go! If you have never tried one of the horns- you really should!!! They play with a great big resonant voice. Can be pushed to play with edge but while always maintains a gorgeous center and character to its voice! These are like a modern king super 20 on steroids! You will never have to worry about being heard of you're playing this model! These early models are truly legendary horns that are a must have for your arsenal!
