Antique pine trunk dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880. Desirable aged patina to the honey tones of the antique pine. This lovely Pine Trunk is in excellent condition with hand dovetailed joinery, lower molding and lid edge molding, exposed joint construction to wood plank top and a beautiful patina. Make me a reasonable offer! The trunk is constructed with original blacksmith made nails, iron carry handles, strap hinges and lock (unlocked, no key is available). Inside - visible in the pictures - there is a candle box. I really want to sell this antique trunk so make me a reasonable offer! Solid wood planked construction with hand-wrought iron nails, as well as hand-wrought iron carry handles on both ends, and strap hinges. Original lock mechanism (unlocked, no key available). The lid opens on strap hinges to reveal voluminous storage within, ideal as a blanket chest or coffee table. This is a very nice, clean example with solid joints and construction. Ready for your home. Measurements: 42 inches wide 20.5 inches deep 17.25 inches high Condition: Very good antique condition being structurally sound with age appropriate signs of normal use as pictured.
