I have a pair of older but perfectly good overpants. These are what I'd consider "medium weather" type overpants, well suited to much of the PNW riding season. They're not insulated, nor mesh, just good solid basic overpants. They're not waterproof, but will still keep you dry in light rain/mist, or just dealing with road spray. They have padding in the hip and knee areas, as well armor in the knees, reflective strips on the thighs. Nice long zippers on the legs make for easy on/off.
