***SPECS AT BOTTOM***CASH ONLY*** 2009 Mac Pro 4,1 with upgrades, This unit shipped from apple with a Xeon W3520 quad-core Processor, I have upgraded the processor to a Xeon X5660 Hexa-Core 6core/12thread, ive also upgraded the ram to 16GB this unit “officially” supports 16GB but people have been successful at putting up to 48GB of RAM in this model, the thermal paste for the cpu was replaced with an “IC Graphite thermal pad”, thermal paste performs better, but dries out over time, the graphite pad requires no maintenance ever, and the X5660 needs less power than the W3520. Less power = less heat So the system runs cooler than it did from the factory. I also performed the “Pixlas Mod” on this Mac allowing it to use high powered modern graphics cards, I ran a Vega 64 with zero issues. This system has also had it firmware updated so under “About this Mac” or “System Profiler” it will show as a “MacPro 5,1”. Included is also the original Nvidia GT 120 GPU.
