This is the sought-after flat box version, equipped with the legendary LM308N op-amp chip, known for its smooth, harmonically rich distortion and responsive dynamics. These were the last of the “The RAT” models before the shift to the RAT 2 graphics, but still feature all the original circuit mojo that players and collectors chase. This unit includes: • Original LM308N chip (verified and pictured) • Flat box enclosure (pre-sloped RAT 2 style) • “Pro Co The RAT” white block logo • USA-made • 3-knob layout: Distortion, Filter, Volume • 1/8” power jack (standard for the era) The pedal functions perfectly and sounds massive — from fuzzy overdrive to full-on saturation.
