They thrive in indirect light to full sun indoors but prefers light shade when outdoors. Perfect for hanging planters as it elegantly cascades over the sides of its container. Its easy to care for needing a container with coarse potting soil and good drainage in the bottom. I recommend using a succulent & cactus soil mix for your String Of Pearls.
