He then graduated from the Artistic Lyceum of Turin and was aided for some years by Guise Sissoldo, a distinguished painters who grew up under the famous painter Casorati. Longanesi later painted for some art galleries in Turin and Milan – very fine seascapes and sailing vessels. He lived in Naples.
