1994 Chevrolet C/K 2500

1994 Chevy K2500 4x4 w/ 6.5L turbo diesel. Auto trans w/ GearVendors overdrive. Ext cab long bed. Bad news up front-truck has coolant leak from the head. Could maybe possibly be just in need of a new gasket, but, more likely is the head is cracked and will need to be decked and resurfaced. Was quoted a little under 5K from local diesel shop. His trusted opinion was that due to mileage and age, the likelihood was that it was the latter option. If you still care to read, the truck was running phenomenal prior to. Front end was replaced within the last 5k miles, so the steering is tight and responsive. Father in law is the original owner, truck was babied and mostly sat as a spare truck the last decade back and forth between so cal and Havasu. 4x4 works, tires have plenty of life. I had a lot of grand plans for this truck, but the potential repair is not something I have the time or desire to battle at this point in life. Reach out if you have any other questions
