HENRY PEETERS LITCHFIELD POND FRAMED PRINT ON CANVAS BOARDHAND EMBELLISHED GOLD LEAF FRAME Henry Peeters is a very well known and highly admired contemporary Impressionist Painter. He was born in China in 1951. Originally, his name was Hing Biu. When he moved to the United States in 1978, he started painting under the name Henry Peeters. He uses various palette knife techniques to form his style known as impasto impressionism. This framed artwork measures 23" wide x 31.75" tall. The frame is nicely carved dark brown with hand-applied gold leaf and a linen insert.The artwork itself is a print on canvas board. On the back of the artwork is a sticker explaining the framing processand the UPC sticker from The Bombay Co. Canvas board is similar to canvas. It has the same texture as canvas,but is stiff, not flexible, hence the term "board". Pickup in Ravenna
