Description

This is 2014 custom build Specialized Rockhopper EVO PRO 29. The bike has 1x12 Sram Eagle NX 12 speed drivetrain. NEW wide-narrow chainring 30T (7075-T6 aluminum) The brake calipers are Sram/Avid CODE 4 pistons with NEW pads. The brake levers are Sram Guide R. (That combination is the best balance between power and modulation that you can get, in my opinion), (and it’s even good enough to run it on a DH bike.) NEW brake rotors — 200mm front and 180mm rear. NEW tires — Maxxis DHR 2 29x2.3 front and rear NEW continental tubes NEW handlebar NEW stem NEW grips NEW seat/saddle FORK — ROCKSHOX 120mm But what makes this bike special? Or why this model Rockhopper is the best one? 1). This bike has a tempered head tube…, the new one doesn’t. The lack of tapered head tube limits extremely the fork options, specifically the good ones. 2). This bike has EXTERNAL routing, the new one doesn’t. If you have worked on a bike, this is no brainer… 3). Build from A1 aluminum, which maybe not the lightest specialized aluminum but it’s probably the strongest. And let’s not forget the THREADED bottom bracket! Asking for $1250 OBO For more info contact the seller. Thanks for looking! This is 2014 custom build Specialized Rockhopper EVO PRO 29.
