Wow! I still can’t believe what a great deal I found at Livermore Toyota on our brand new 2025 Corolla LE.

There was no unpleasant haggling unlike with other dealerships.
Sal, the store sales manager, and Rick, the Internet sales manager, provided an easy, friendly, courteous, smooth sales experience. They were both very accommodating, patient and kind, really listening to and understanding all of my needs and concerns, working with me on a tight budget. From the day we visited to test drive to the day I returned to finalize the purchase, they both provided superb customer service, a friendly welcoming experience to my whole family, and delivered excellent results! Sal and Rick went out of their way to make me a happy customer. They beat and exceeded a “too good to be true” online quote I brought to their attention that every other dealership had dismissed and even mocked as “unrealistic”. Sal and Rick not only didn’t dismiss my asks, they actively worked with me to exceed my expectations. I’m very greatful to both.

At finance department, Kevin helped me sign all the paperwork in a streamlined, quick and effortless fashion, and he provided a kind, knowledgeable and professional service as well. I advised my 22 yo daughter and new nurse, to take her 2012 Camry to Toyota for a diagnostic on a tmps sensor issue. I was hoping for a legit place that would treat her right. She chose the Livermore location due to proximity to her apartment in Pleasanton. They wanted ~$200 for the diagnostic and then as it turned out another $280 to fix the main tpms unit. That’s understandable I guess. Just expensive. During this work they also came back with a failure on both lower steering arms, saying the boots were heavily damaged and needed immediate replacement. They even tried scaring my daughter saying she could suffer total loss of steering and wreck her car or run off the road if not replaced at the moment. And then price quoted was nearly $2k. I was skeptical of the lower arm damage as I had the car in at 2 different maintenance shops and a Toyota dealer in the Houston area in the previous year to get the car ready for my soon to be new graduate. Plus I even had a local mobile mechanic I’ve used for several years that did some gasket work , replaced hoses, cv axle and other projects recently on the car. Steering arms were not mentioned in any conversations. So I went for a second opinion at a local Pleasanton auto shop and they stated steering arms were in decent condition. They said boots had small cracks but no tears , and although they showed some wear they felt there was no immediate concern for the car or my daughters safety. Just to keep an eye on it. Have it checked every few months or if steering were to get noisier or have changes in way the car turns , steers or drives. So, I know they were probably bring overly cautious but to scare a 22 yo woman , with little car knowledge and new to town, and away from family , to shell out nearly $2k a job they is a truly $1 k job seems reprehensible and verging on fraud. I hope when she decides to spend her hard earned nursing dollars on a new car in a year or two, she remembers how she was treated there , to find another dealer to treat her properly or maybe even leave Toyota for another brand since maybe they’ve lost her trust. I know I’ve lost mine.
