VINTAGE GERMAN ASTA ENAMEL COOKWARE GROUP, NEAR MINT CONDITION!

Asta enameled cookware was made by the Fissler Company of Germany, who manufactured Asta from 1851 until the 1980's. Asta's pots and pans are comprised of steel bodies covered with two coats of porcelain enamel which were then fired. The final step involved firing on a third layer of porcelain enamel which was applied to cover surface ornamentation. As a result of this intensive production process, Asta cookware is quite durable as well as visually appealing. These high quality Asta luxury pots and pans were very expensive when initially offered in retail locations and remain highly sought after today.
