Lamp is original piece with original solid Brass Beaded Victorian Bell lampShade with flawless nylon style interior, most shades from this period are hard to find without tears or rips throughout the material as it's extremely fragile.. in the right setting the Shade can go for 175$ to upwards of 300 while the lamp can draw 6 ,7 , to an easy 1000.00.. I've never plugged it in and the reason being it has its original electrical cord which has no ground, due to having our infant in the home at the time. And to be honest I'm not an electrician and not sure if I'm right but I felt the plug and cord should be upgraded to a modern version,, My GreatGrandmama gave this to my Grandmama, who then gave it to me. Due to unfortunate car repairs. We need our car fixed to continue working and stop paying for Uber,
