Description

Beautiful Little Wolf Jumbo Cloth Relic Card from the 2025 Pieces of the Past Wild West Edition. This one really stands out because of the large bright red patterned cloth relic, featuring a prominent white-and-black design rather than a basic single-color swatch. 🔥 Little Wolf Authentic Relic Card 🔥 Jumbo Patterned Cloth Relic 🔥 2025 Pieces of the Past Wild West Edition 🔥 Card #743 🔥 Large red, white & black patterned fabric 🔥 Manufacturer states it is an authentic relic card 🔥 Excellent historical display piece Historical Significance Little Wolf (Ó’kôhómôxháahketa) was a prominent Northern Cheyenne leader and warrior during the 19th century. He became especially well known for his leadership during the Northern Cheyenne’s struggle to return to their homeland. After the Northern Cheyenne were forcibly relocated from their northern Plains homeland to Indian Territory in present-day Oklahoma, conditions were devastating. Disease, hunger and inadequate supplies contributed to numerous deaths. In 1878, Little Wolf and Morning Star (Dull Knife) led several hundred Northern Cheyenne away from the reservation and began an extraordinary journey north toward their traditional homeland. Pursued by the U.S. Army, the group traveled hundreds of miles across the Plains. Little Wolf ultimately led part of the group back into Montana, where Northern Cheyenne descendants maintain their homeland today. His leadership during the Northern Cheyenne Exodus made Little Wolf one of the notable Native American figures of the closing years of the Old West. The reverse states: “You have received an authentic relic card of: LITTLE WOLF.” A fantastic collectible for anyone interested in Cheyenne history, Native American history, the American West, historical relics, or Pieces of the Past cards.
