Offering 2 Edwin M. Knowles Pottery Co. Art Deco Era pottery platters / plates . Yorktown Shape - introduced in 1936. Numbered 36-10. Made in 1936, the 10th month. The shape features circular ridges or tearraces with stylish ridged wings on either side. There are two deco styled tulips in pots in the design. Very much like "Penthouse" pattern by Knowles. I believe this may be "Spring Tulips" style. No cracks, chips or defects. Light pattern print fading but nothing major. Beautiful set for the age. Would be gorgeous layered and displayed vertically on a countertop or hung on the wall. Also perfect to use as intended. Serve cookies on them and display their beauty when not in use.
