Complete 32-piece hand-carved and hand-painted wooden chess set with a matching folding board/carry case. Unmarked; mid-century folk-art / Eastern-European style with castle tower rooks and rearing-horse knights. Fitted velvet interior with original tie-downs. Condition Set is complete and playable. Board surface shows scuffs, scratches, and finish wear from use. Velvet liner and ties show age and handling. Pieces show light wear from age/handling; no breaks noted in my inspection.
