Description
The Kodak Hawkeye Instamatic II camera was produced from 1969 to 1972. The Hawkeye II is a restyled version of the Kodak Instamatic 44 that was being produced around the same time, the biggest difference being that the Instamatic 44 had an original list price of $9.95, the most inexpensive of all cameras in the Kodak Instamatic line; while the Hawkeye II was never sold at retail, but given away in promotions. Most notably in a joint promotion with Scott Paper Towels in the early 1970's. The idea was to give away the camera, while generating a lasting demand for Kodak film. The Kodak Hawkeye Instamatic II shown above is in good condition, with the exception of it being a little dusty from being displayed. Camera could use a good leaning. All buttons and doors work but it does show some wear for its age. the outer shell is not cracked or damaged. This camera has NOT been tested for functionality. This little gem would be a wonderful addition to any collection of vintage cameras, home decor, or for anyone wanting a small piece of American made Kodak history.
