Description
The "Chintz" pattern, produced by Fostoria Glass of West Virginia from 1940 to 1973, features a delicate, hand-etched floral design of rose vines and open flowers. The goblet bowl has 16 facets, and the stem is ornate, featuring a ribbed center and diamond-patterned knops. These goblets typically stand around 6 1/4 inches tall and can hold approximately 8 fluid ounces As vintage items, they may show signs of cosmetic wear, such as light scratches or tiny "flea bite" nicks, but are generally in good condition. While designed as water goblets, they can also be used for iced tea or wine.
