THISIS AN AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL BRASS RUBBING LITHO PRINT Margaret Bernard was the daughter and heir to John Bernard of Isleham, and the first wife of Thomas Peyton. She is wearing a decolletee waisted gown of rich Italian brocade with cuffs and turned down collar. She wears a "butterfly" head-dress with the prayer "Lady (help) Jhu (Jesu) mercy" worked on it.
