Description

Circa 1840’s hand carved canopy bed with original silk canopy. This show piece has been handed down thru 9 generations and is in very good condition. It includes the original wooden screws and is beautiful. We are downsizing and sadly we are unable to move this showcase piece. It is true collectors item. It very closely resembles the Henry Clay bed now at the Smithsonian and is rumored to have built by the same craftsman. Comes with custom mattress that is built to help frame the four pillars around the bed. Size is a little bit smaller than a queen. But we had a queen size foam topper on top of it, and used queen size sheets on it always.  If it’s posted it still available. Must Pick Up.
