LIFE-SIZE WATTO Star Wars The Phantom Menace - Rare Pepsi Display

Are you looking for the perfect gift to give that Star Wars fanatic in your life? Well, here it is. This life-size Watto statue was a very rare store promotional display by Pepsi in Publix Supermarkets when the movie was released in 1999. Pepsi conducted a raffle in which the winner received the display. Reportedly it is fabricated from the original sculptures used to scan the characters for CG. Watto had the ability of flight, so this figure was designed to be suspended and will not stand up on its own. There are two square holes in his back that attached to the stand. He is constructed from a resin and is dressed with a faux leather vest and equipment harness. The level of detail is impressive. The display overall is in very good condition. There are a few flaws, such as some areas of paint wear and scuffing and light scratches on the base.
