Description

This was Scott's top of the line late '70s receiver that competed with Marantz, Sansui, Macintosh and Pioneer. It boasts 80 watts per channel. I have used it in my garage for the past 5 years. I've replaced the lights with LEDs and changed out the power supply capacitors. The unit was not working when I bought it. The power switch arced when I bought it, so I added a triac to handle the voltage from the power supply. This took the heavy lifting off of the power switch. It brought the unit back to life. It sounds great and looks good. This is the type of unit that will make your neighbors complain about noise. It produces a lot of sound and it is great to watch the meters bounce up and down as your music plays.
