Description
Selling my 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser w/5 speed transmission (98-02 were 4 speed). I have completed about every bit of preventative maintenance possible on this vehicle. There is a book on completed maintenance like oil changes but I will highlight some items below - I used OE or OEM for just about every replacement part unless I was doing an “upgrade”, used full synthetic fluids, etc. This is the third cruiser I have built. Just purchased a 200 series as my next toy to tinker with. It has taken me on countless trips up to Flagstaff, Sedona, Payson + hiking trails. Recently completed a trip through Yosemite, Mammoth, Sequoia, Kings Canyon and over to San Diego - didn’t miss a beat. This was used for daily driving & camping trips - NOT off-roading- but there is some Sedona red dirt underneath. Body/frame is rust free, and overall solid as can be. Maintenance/Updates within the last ~10k/15k miles: Full AISIN & OEM timing belt kit, water pump, thermostat, + fan bracket replacement- also did the alternator brushes, radiator hoses, OEM pink coolant. (cam and crank seals replaced at previous timing belt change) Doug Thorley headers + OEM gaskets (noticeable HP increase and removed the common manifold “tick”) ~$1k, muffler is OEM Grom Audio VLite VT2 wireless bluetooth Apple CarPlay/Android Audio ~$550 Slee Offroad sliders ~$1400 Leather reupholster of seats (front + back) + console, steering wheel ~$2k? Center perforation + contrast stitching. Front seats are heated. New carpet + sound deadener (floors, doors, tailgate)- made a HUGE difference in overall noise. ~$750 Dobinsons variable rate rear coils (~2” lift in the rear, have some 10mm spacers I will also include) + small front torsion bar lift (.75” rake) New front bearings + rotors (oem), front/rear pads Full brake flush at Right Toyota New OEM shocks on all four corners Misc suspension bushings replaced (oem) Spark plugs + Denso (OE) ignition coils OEM rear upper control arms SPC HD rear lower control arms Freedom Offroad HD front upper control arms (will include factory arms) + alignment OEM fuel pump, fuel filter OEM heater T’s OE MAF Denso O2 sensors OEM serpentine belt Denso air filter New OEM fan clutch + fluid upgrade One piece “Depo style” headlights w/upgraded bulbs LED fog lights/turn signal combo in the front bumper Front window tint OEM front differential bushing Front and rear weather tech mats + windshield sunshade, cargo mat is weather tech avm HD CV axles Full syn transmission drain/refill Full syn oil changes + oem filters - have the Fumoto easy drain valve on the oil pan Misc fluids replaced (differentials, power steering, coolant, etc.) Misc lightbulb replacements with LEDs (inside and out) OEM gas cap and rad cap Dashcam + cell phone holder New subwoofer + pioneer speakers + tweeters (not high end, but an upgrade from factory) Re-bungeed the nets on the back of front seats New Yokohama Geolander A/T tires ~15k ago ~$1k? Upgraded to Tundra 18” rims Slee spacers (front and back) Greased driveshafts + misc Replaced spare tire with a newer one (non matching) ~100k miles ago the steering rack was replaced (previous owner). Some of the side/strip trim has some clear coat flaking. The hood has small clear coat circles surrounding the windshield spray nozzles The little panels under the headlights have a good amount of tiny rock chips & touch up spots. Rear bumper is slightly faded (across the top and corners), couple small paint touchups. Front passenger fender has denting + the front bumper is scratched/touched up (not great, not awful) Driver door panel inside is faded on the top where I rest my arm + a little chewed up on the bottom outside corner, courtesy light cap is missing. Small vinyl cut/split on the top of the inside door panel (rear driver’s side door). Driver’s seat belt is slow to return - I’ve hand washed it w/Simple Green, but it could use a power wash. Crack on the vent insert next to the radio. Rear cup holder in the console will fall out if it is pulled out all the way. Sunroof does not work and is sealed. Antenna doesn’t go up or down. No third row. A/C and heat are factory strong (also has second and third row climate control), locks work, windows work, etc. Have some random extra parts for you, often just what I took off and replaced. Have an extra key fob, I’ll throw in an 8ft roof rack awning if you want it. Did my best to describe the Cruiser’s overall condition- mechanical (excellent) and appearance (good)- I’ve pointed out known flaws, I do not care to listen to someone attempt to pick it apart and then lowball me. Won’t get back what I put in it, but enjoyed every second of upgrading, camping, and driving it- hope you will too. Clean title in my name. Private party sale= no AZ 5.6% sales tax. No trades. No lowballers. Text (prior to calling) or email preferred to start conversation.
