Mid century modern. Marcel Breuer's Wassily, authentic imported by Stendig 1960s chair This piece measures 27 inches long, 31 inches wide, and has a back height of 28.75 inches. The seat height is 16.5 Made in Italy by Stending Chrome need some restoration to be perfect . Leather not ripping and tearing in any spots. Ready to be used as is right now. In 1960, Stendig met Dino Gavina, founder of Gavina SpA, a furniture factory in Bologna, Italy. Soon after, Gavina came to America and obtained the distribution rights to Marcel Breuer's Bauhaus-era designs, including the Cesca, Wassily, and Laccio chairs and tables.
