1941 Gibson J-35 Natural

Excellent condition 1941 Gibson J-35 in natural. No breaks. All original outside of the swapped bridge. Very clean example of an early 40’s J-35. Only made for a handful of years, this model has the characteristic of being a bit more open sounding than an older J-45. Probably one of the loudest Gibson acoustics I’ve played, while also being the best recording acoustic I own as well. Very minimal play wear on the top, with some standard buckle rash on the back as pictured. Very well taken care of. Original pickguard is not warping etc. Frets still have plenty of life. Neck is straight, and the action is nice and low all the way up the fretboard. Original tuners work well and stay in tune nicely. Intonation is on. Nice chunkier Gibson acoustic neck on this one. No holes, or major repairs. One repaired crack near the pickguard as pictured. These are getting harder to find, and sound arguably better than a lot of old J-45’s I’ve played.
