Description

2003 Ford Expedition XLT - Parts or Donor Vehicle Will part out (contact me first) or sell entire vehicle for $1000. Starts right up and runs but will NOT drive. You will need to tow if you want the entire truck. Flatbed or full trailer tow ONLY. You cannot sling or tow this behind your vehicle. What's Good - 2003 - 4.6L V8 - 4WD - 150,000 miles. - Interior is in great shape. All electronics work. - Engine starts right up and runs. Idles a little rough but it hasn't been checked out by a mechanic. It could be something simple, such as plugs or coils. Keeps good temp at long standing idle. - Transmission shifts smooth. 4WD works. - Wheels are good, tires have between 30-50% tread left. Full size factory spare with factory rim in good shape. - Cat-back exhaust is good. No holes or leaks that I can see or hear. - Most body and door panels are good. Some minor surface in spots and rust through on driver-side rockers. What's Bad - Rear frame is rusted through in several spot, will not pass safety inspection without major repair. - Brakes are locked-up - Calipers are dragging and leak in LR brake line. - Exhaust leak pre-cat - Could be a hole in the exhaust manifold, gasket, or pipe joint. - Possible lower engine knock - Could be rod knock or could just be noise from the exhaust leak. Not 100% sure. Contact me for any questions or other details
